This September, ArtWorks for Freedom joined the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists ACAMS North America for its Annual AML & Financial Crime Conference.
Understanding the connection between financial crime and human trafficking is critical to combating it, and we were pleased to see several break-out sessions on human trafficking prevention. Attendees responded with great enthusiasm to making the Door, which provided them with a refreshingly different way to think about the human costs of this global criminal enterprise. The ACAMS Golden Door to Freedom is being rotated to various NGOs in Las Vegas and will ultimately be displayed at City Hall.
