“Bought & Sold” at Higgs Beach Key West, Florida

Our outdoor installation “Bought & Sold: Voices of Human Trafficking” will be featured on Higgs Beach in Key West, Florida at the African Cemetery throughout the month of February. This location was selected to honor the memories and tragedy of those individuals who were abducted from their home in Africa to be sold as “commercial goods” so many years ago.

Many thanks to our partner Erika Biddle who brought this installation to life with her passion for bringing awareness of Human Trafficking to people in Key West.

The February campaign also features:

  • Exhibit of Robin Romano’s photographs of child labor
  • Prints from “Bought & Sold” on display at Studios of Key West, opening February 7
  • Film screening of Len Morris’ film “Children of Bal Ashram,” February 9
