On 28 November, ArtWorks for Freedom and the Kay Chernush Virtual Gallery presented “Narratives of In Transit: The Body as Currency,” a hybrid forum featuring co-curators Helen Frederick and Kate Somers and exhibiting artists Beautiful Feet, Matilde Simas, and Lynn Sures. The conversation, moderated by art and photo historian Erin Haney at Southwest Library in Washington, explored the powerful narratives, themes, and throughlines of the exhibition, the gallery’s inaugural show.
