Fort Myers, Florida 2019
Florida SouthWestern State College

In January, 2019 we partnered with Florida SouthWestern State College and Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships for a three-week human trafficking awareness campaign. Our outdoor installation “Bought & Sold: Voices of Human Trafficking” was featured on the campus along with other events including:

  • “At the Intersection of Art & Human Rights: A Photographer’s Fight Against Modern Slavery,” a talk given by our president and director Kay Chernush;
  • The Red Sand Project participatory art event;
  • Film screening of “The True Cost” and panel discussion; and a
  • Human trafficking prevention round table discussion.

We were honored to be a part of this multifaceted event coordinated by Professor Wendy T. Chase!
