Lee Rosner

LEE ROSNER was a molecular biologist at the National Institutes of Health for fifty years, where he researched viruses, bacteria, and antibiotic resistance until his retirement in 2016.

Lee’s major skills are analysis and consensus building. He has been heavily involved in social justice movements since the 1960s, as well as in civic activities, serving as an election officer and an emergency response volunteer; most recently, he led his co-op’s coronavirus task force.

Lee has been a member of the board of ArtWorks for Freedom since its inception. His wife, Kay Chernush, was the organization’s founder and first president.
